Sourav Chakraborty profile picture

Sourav Chakraborty is working as a HPC Middleware Developer for Nvidia Networking. His focus is on developing high performance communication libraries for modern CPUs and GPUs. His research interests include Message Passing, High performance networks, Fault tolerance, Scalable distributed sytems, RDMA, and other aspects of High performance computing in general.

Sourav did his PhD in Computer Science and Engineering at The Ohio State University, where he worked in the Network Based Computing Laboratory with Prof. D K Panda. He has published in multiple international conferences and contributed to various open source software including UCX, MVAPICH2, and SLURM. Sourav earned his Bachelor's from Jadavpur University and has previously worked at AMD, Yahoo!, and Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory. His passions include photography and hiking.
